Print screen in windows doesn't take good screen capture in software that I'm using (they look black). What's a good free screen capture utility?

What are you trying to take screenshots of?

If it's a video try disabling hardware acceleration.

It's some really old software that runs in 8 bit color. There are some bugs that I need to take screenshots of
