virtualdub is good

although i must confess....i do use the Dr Divx thing (you have to pay sadly) and its soo easy. im gonna upgrade for $10 to Divx 6 i think, when i figure out why, when i pick pay via SWITCH card and then they have too many spaces for the number on the card. so when i put my card number in an click next it says i havent filled it in right

and yes i have a switch card

I have heard great things about Gordian Knot but I had discovered Dr. Divx and FairUseWizard (the older free one) and didn't feel like trying yet another. I've come to learn how to use VirtualDubMod which gives me a lot of options instead of those "click-and-go" tools mentioned above... depends how easy you want it or if you're willing to learn details.

EDIT >>I will say that my XVID conversions fail with VDM (divx 6 is good though) so I'll see what Auto Gordian Knot can do now...

EDIT2 >> Looks like Auto Gordian Knot only supports MPEG-2 feeds... :(

What are you trying to use for a source? AutoGK is mostly intended for ripping DVDs.
