Good free pop up blocker for IE?

StageLeft

No Lifer
I need one that is freeware and works well with IE. I know I posted this a long time ago but I cannot find the thread.

Please don't recommend mozilla. I use IE.

And har har in response to the person who will say "use mozilla".

Hmm this thing seems real slim on the features. Other one's I've used let you press CTRL and open windows when it's pressed. This basically has an on/off only...

EDIT: Actually this POW isn't stopping a damn thing - what am i missing?

Skoorb- once you recognize how to use it, it's wonderful. But it's going to take a little bit of effort first. When you see a pop up you want to kill...

1) right click on the yellow thing in your toolbar
2) select Add/Delete Popup and the program setup window will appear
3) double click the title of the offending pop-up from the bottom window- this adds it to the list of titles that POW will kill when it sees them in the top window
4) click Done. you won't see a pop-up with that title again.

Just takes some work at first, but it's reliable and works very well.

Hmm, in Custom Type try putting the end bit of your browser window's title. "- Microsoft Internet Explorer", for example. Try messing with Tolerance if that didn't help.

Edit: And what StattlichPassat said. For some reason I assumed you had already did what he mentioned.
