good free ftp

Simple to set up and use
(lan has windows file shareing disabled)?

Smart FTP is free for noncommercial use. My friends all recommend it, but I use Bulletproof (which is pay).

Smart FTP has nag screens which randomly appear when you open it if you use it between 9am and 5pm, hence why I stopped using it.

Me too! I recently switched from SmartFTP to FileZilla, FileZilla has nicer cleaner interface too.
