Good free backup software

Any recommended software? I am looking for something fairly simple. I have two identical drives in my system. 1 for Data 1 for backups of said data. I just want a scheduled program to run and make the backup drive an exact copy of the data drive. (probably ignoring deleted files)

I tried a couple but they only gave the option to make a backup file, or a zip file instead of just straight up copying everything.

It supports GPT Disks as well! Very easy to use

When doing back ups, is there a downside to after doing your first back up, only doing incremental back ups to reflect only new files and/or file changes?

Not all of the back up programs allow for this, so that might be why some people don't back up in this fashion, but other than that, is there a good reason to not take this course of action?

Sounds more like sync is what you want. Funny how users don't realize the difference between the two. Regardless, Syncback does both, has a built scheduler, sports oodles of advanced features, can run countless jobs in routine and unassisted, and it's free. And perhaps the best feature is that it's portable. No installation needed.
