good force feedback racing wheel?

per the title - any suggestions? i recently got a non-ff wheel & am really digging it, ff sounds like it could be that much better!

IMO, if you have a good non-ff wheel, you should stick with it. Force feedback is good for about 5 minutes as you "ooh and aaah". but for real driving, I find that it gets in the way more than it helps you feel the road. FWIW, I have a Thrustmaster non-ff wheel myself, and I've used Logitech's Formula Force wheels, both new and old versions.
(Old version is a LOT better than the new version. The new one has gears rather than cable for the force motor, which makes them notchy and noisy)

Gotta agree with ApacheXMD on the Force issue. I bought an Act-Labs FF and found that for me FF is just a novelty to seperate me from my wallet. In my opinion it was just too stiff and slow for the games I race and/or my style of driving. Save your money and buy a Thomas.superwheel. Yes, they are pricey but they are guaranteed for life. You won't regret it. Just my two cents

Thanks for the link TallGeese. From what I read they no longer sell to the general public. Now that's a downright shame as those are the most impressive looking wheels I've ever seen.

They should be impressive...when they were sold to the public, they went for around $2000-2500. :Q

But they are the best, hands-down (and no FF). People may still be able to score one off eBay, etc.
