Looking for suggestions for flavors for homemade energy drinks.
I ordered a 100g bag of caffeine off Amazon and I plan on mixing in about 70 to 150 mg worth in 16 oz bottles of seltzer plus flavoring. Thought about getting SodaStream at first for carbonation, but it seems like too much effort and money for their CO2 scheme.
Anyone have any ideas for flavors, either using mixes or pure ingredients? My favorite flavors so far from commercial energy drinks have been Full Throttle (Blue Agave, Red Berry, Citrus), Monster (Mixxd, Khaos, the non-carbonated "Rehab" line, Zero Ultra), and NOS (pretty much all flavors), SLAP (Crisp Apple - discontinued), AMP (Lightning - discontinued?), Red Rain (Watermelon), and Xenergy (Mango Guava, haven't tried many of the others).
I definitely have a preference for flavors and not the medicinal taste of drinks like Red Bull, which is what I imagine bull urine would taste like (not that I would know...). Some of the Rockstar flavors are fine, but nothing special.
