Good Flat Panel Monitors for in my car

I'm looking for a CHEAP flat panel monitor to put in my car for a car computer system. With 15" flat panel monitors now under $300, I am looking for the thinnest one possible. I *MUST* be able to remove the ugly/big stands that all the monitors are on. I need to just have the rectangular monitor part and the cord to the computer. Anyone who owns a 15" LCD, please give me some insight on whether it is possible to remove the stand and about how thick the actual monitor part is.

I have a KDS Rad-5 monitor. I got it for $250 after rebate (if I get the rebate). According to the instruction manual, you can take the screen apart from the stand and use some kind of standard wall mount thing.
