So I've been out of the loop of good first person shooters in the last 3-4 years.

I've played Doom 3, Far Cry, Half-life 2, and Fear. What other good fps games are there that you guys would recommend.

I see dozens of titles at the store, but I do like to see reviews of the games I buy. Thanks.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is good, especially later in the game.
Chronicles of Riddick is great.
Call of Duty I, II are good, great sound effects.

STALKER, Prey, Call of Duty 2.... good God is that it?! If you like some SPG with your FPS, Oblivion is well worth it.

You did NOT just hit down the BattleField Series.

Yes network coding sucks, but it's one of the best FPS's ever created.

Both, but I have a preference for SP.

I've read some reviews on Battlefield 2. It looks good.

Maybe too arcady. I'm more into realistic type gun battles where I don't have to cap the guy in the head 7 times for him to die.

The name was xxxxxxxx... pacific front?

What's the title of the game I"m talking about?

I loved Pacific Assault.
Its more than a game, its an experience.
Running down the pier at Pearl Harbor and shooting the flak guns off a ship were just awesome, and that was only the beginning.

Tron 2.0 is also like that. But some of the puzzles are downright painful. Also, I didnt actually care that much for the LightCycles, but I seem to recall that a patch came out eventually and if you dont like those sequences you can bypass them now.

How are these packs...Special Forces Expansion Pack, Euro Force Booster Pack and Armored Fury Booster Pack ?

Are there any SP missions in these games besides fighting against bots in the maps?

i would stay away from BF2 games if you want to keep your sanity and want to play future FPS games

there are no SP missions, its just fighting against extremely stupid and easy bots instead of people

When did this game get released? Best Buy says 3/13/07.

Also, do I need the original Medal of Honor or can I just get this game?

Its a complete game.
And Worst Buy is full of shiat.
Its over a year old.

BUT, it still requires some modern horsepower if you want all the details turned up.
