I normally go to a coffee shop or someplace where I can talk to see if I want to see her again and someplace that won't cost me much money if I end up having to buy her something. Then again, I'm older than you and most the women I meet are through other people, so I never know who or what is going to show up.

If you can't shell out $60 for dinner, you probably shouldn't be dating. Get a job.

pfft. That is absurd.

Movie bad, dinner, coffee, anything where you can talk is good. Unless you have no conversational skills in which case the best Meg Ryan movie in the world isn't going to save you.

Also, don't go overboard. Picnic or anything like that is not a good idea, you'll come on a little strong. Just keep it light and more of a "getting to know you" date.

You should ask her what shed like to do. I took that chance, and it worked...

I always find that these things turn out like:

me: so what do you wanna do?

girl: dunno. you?

me: dunno. you?

girl: dunno. you?

me: dunno. you?

girl: dunno. you?

ad infinium . . ..

Like I said, I got lucky. I just said, hey, lets do something this saturday. Have anything youve been wanting to do/see? And she replied with matchstick men, which is probably something i would have suggested anyway, but hey.
