Good first date?

I am just curious, what do you people normally do on a first date? I am about to ask a girl out, and I think I may have a chance, but I keep having people telling me different things to ask her to do on the first date. Keep in mind I am 17, a senior in HS, and she is 16, a junior in HS. Any suggestions?

He asked what they should do on their date, now how to ask her.

Anything but a movie, just make it something where you can talk and get to know each other. Have fun!

Someone I know suggested that, and said to ask her to go for coffee. First of all, I find coffee disgusting, and I don't know if she drinks it. So what would you suggest?

Go to a collegetown nearby - there should be a crapload of things to do there . . .. At least, if there IS a collegetown nearby . . ..

That's a good suggestion, however I can't bowl worth for sh|t, so she would beat me pretty well (put it this way, the last time I played, my friend beat me with a 100 handicap :p).

Grab a lunch somewhere nearby. Take your time eating.

Take her to a half decent place to eat. Then talk to her, and conversation will naturally lead you to where you should go from there. When conversation starts to drop off and you konw you'll be making for the door of the restaurant place the question if she would like to do anything else. Go with whatever she suggests.

If she can come up with nothing then you need to have a plan (go to a park and hang out is a good suggestion). If she turns you down on your plan for the second place to go then you simply take her home. Ask her if she would like to see a movie on the next date right as you are dropping her off at her place of residence.

During next date of course you put your arm around her and hold her. Then you stick your fingers in her mouth ever so discreetly and slowly and if she sucks on them you are home free.

At least these were my last 2 experiences.

Find a park with a lake and prepare a nice picnic lunch.
Then you can go play minigolf.
At night do a dinner and a movie thing.

I always find that these things turn out like:

me: so what do you wanna do?

girl: dunno. you?

me: dunno. you?

girl: dunno. you?

me: dunno. you?

girl: dunno. you?

ad infinium . . ..

> Good god, highschool kids must be LOADED these days!

If you can't shell out $60 for dinner, you probably shouldn't be dating. Get a job.
