Terry Goodkind

Wizard first rule series.

I'll try to forget you said that. Sorry, but Goodkind is absolute crap.

QFT

George R.R. Martin, definetly - Get a Song of Ice and Fire series, Fevre Dream, and Tuf Voyaging (last two are horror or sci-fi, but really good as well).

Guy Gavriel Kay is alright.

I've heard good things about Steven Erikson (Gardens of the Moon), but it takes a couple of books before the series starts getting good, so you have to hang in there for a bit when reading his series.

Steven Erickson is amazing, I highly recommend his Malazan series (starts with Gardens of the Moon).

Thanks for the suggestions.
I picked up a book by George R.R. Martin.

Good read so far, although I am only 58 pages into it. Finding it hard to remember who all these characters are.... lol, so many, and such different names makes for remembering them difficult.
Once you hit a particular scene in the middle of the book, you'll be going WTF?!

You'll know it when you see it 😉
