Good, fairly inexpensive pocketknife?

My leatherman (all 3 of them) are a little too large to carry around in my pocket. I carry my wallet, keys, and phone. (wallet in back pocket, keys in right pocket, cell in left pocket) so I need a knife with a clip that can slide onto my pocket (but not fall in the pocket...) Make sense?

I would like something that looks good; will last, and is not to expensive..

I'm impartial to the Smith and Wesson SWAT series. I own 3 and I've given a few to friends who always seem to like them.

MicroTech mini Socom Elite. You can pick it up NIB or LNIB for ~$100, private sale. 154CM steel, 6061 handle, framelock, and if you dont like the inserts you can make/buy some in CF/rayskin/assorted leathers.

Whoops. Guess you heard of them 🙂

I carry a Kershaw Scallion. I like it a lot but it needs to be sharpened. I've carried a SWAT too but I found it too big. The smaller version isn't any bigger than my Scallion, however.

Yeah I've got a juice, a wave, and a super tool 200.. the juice is I think an CS4..

I think the Benchmade Griptillian Mini is the undisputable champ of pocket knives. I just carry a Kershaw Scallion that I got off eBay.

Kershaws are good knives don't get me wrong and the recomendation for the Benchmade Griptillian and the Microtech Mini Socom were also very good. My personal recomendation if you want to purchase a new EDC is just that, a Cammilus EDC

or a good Spderco would also serve your needs. The Persian is a new model and selling for about $90 shipped

Although I used whatever links were handy at the time, I would recomend www.thebrightedge.com for all your cutlery needs. He has better prices on everything. If you find a better price somewhere else, I am sure he will beat it

fiance got me a tiny little Kershaw, but it was too small for me. Her dad got me a Sheffield set, and I carry around the main blade out of that set...but it does tend to fall apart (i.e. I have to tighten the bold? that keeps it together). Not bad for free though 😉
