Good, elegant alarm clock program?

I know I can use task manager but the emphasis is ELEGANT.. I'm trying to simplify my life by using my computer for mostly everything.. Would love to ditch the alarm clock that's perputually blinking 12:00 as well.. ANy good programs? I'd love somethign that I can set reminders such as anniversaries and daily alarms as well.. I know outlook can do it but, again, I want something elegant and small that I can run 24/7 without clogging resources.

Outlook does it, yea, but if you don't use Outlook you have to somehow transfer the information between outlook and the alarm clock, unless you plan on duplicating the information in two places at once. The biggest problem with stuff like this is that you have to get the information from one source to another, and any program that can interface with outlook is not likely to be free....
