For a future economist type person..what forums would be good to further my knowledge?

I don't know of any forums that discuss econ but economics as a subject is inevitably the target of ignorant people who refuse to believe or understand its uses.
As a failed economics major, I wish you good luck on finding place to learn more.

I used to subscribe to The Economist and the Finance & Economics section was always a good read. It's short and dense which is great for ppl with short attention spans (like me heh) but who also like to read an interesting take on an economic situation. I see that The Economist online also has forums but they're for technology. Businessweek online has some forums as well but they're not so much geared towards economics and theory.
