Good eating idea?

We have Wendy's at our school and they have chili for $.99 w/o tax. I saw this girl today with a REALLY good idea. She brought a bowl of pasta in a tuperware container with her and simply used the chili for sauce... I'm gonna try this tomorrow and see how it is... Pretty cheap lunch idea IMHO.

Nothing like eating reject hamburgers errr I mean Wendy's chili.

Are you with Wendy's?

I've heard the same thing from a wendy's worker, but I really dont mind... after all their burgers are already cooked and being in chili just lets it simmer for a long time.

It can sit for a long time, that's why its so horrible.

The burgers that sit on the grill too long and are too brown to serve are frozen for up to 5 days. They are put in a pan with water and boiled to remove the grease and general crap that they pick up on the grill. They are chopped then added to the chili.

I've made countless pots of chili, and never once have I really considered it gross to do this.

wendys chili might be the healthiest thing on their menu

200 calories
5g fat
21g carb
17g protein

I order it in place of french fries a lot

OR:
Bring a bag of potato or corn chips.
Get chili.
Open bag of chips.
Dump chili in bag.
Shake.
Enjoy with a spoon/fork right from the bag.

My parents claim this is a Texas "delicacy." Either way, I love it.
