I am trying to think of some tasty, but easy and quick to make "meat" dishes. Right now I eat way too many Carbs, particularly bread, and I would like to concentrate on more protien (ie Atkins) but lunchmeat by itself and hamburgers by themselves get pretty boring. I know there are "Atkins" bars and stuff, but those get pretty expensive.

So, any tasty meat-dish suggestions that are quick and tasty? :D

Well, on occasion I like to get a bunch of chicken wings and rub them with jerk seasoning and broil them. Good stuff.

more days than not one of my meals consists of george formaning a breast of chicken and cutting it up and throwing it on a salad with some fat free dressing.

Jerk seasoning? Do I really want to know? :Q ;)

Anyway, try getting some carne asada and making carne asada quesadillas. :D

1. Cook the carne asada in a pan or on the Foreman grill (if you have one) until it's brown, then slice it up into little pieces.

2. Take a flour tortilla and lay it out flat

3. Layer carne asada and cheese (I like to use shredded Mexican taco cheese for this) on one half of the tortilla, then fold the tortilla in half

4. Put it in a pan and brown both sides of the tortilla. The cheese will get melted in the process, as well.

Mmmmm mmmmm good.

:D

Get some sirloin and grind it or let it cook in a crock pot and get stringy, either way cook it with salt, pepper, cumin, onion and garlic.
Get tortillas.
Get tomato sauce. Put tons of pepper and cumin in there. Spread on tortilla.
Put meat in tortilla, roll it up.
Heat corn or olive oil (Olive oil tastes better, IMO, but corn browns the tortilla better)
Four of these should fit in a 10" skillet.
Heat 'em, after a few minutes, flip em, then after a fe wmore minutes, eat 'em w/ random cheese and some lettuce on top.

There's probably a name, but so many mexican dishes change names w/ the slightest method or ingredient change that I'm not even bothering to find out.

Grab a pig, kill it, clean it, ram a couple steel rods through it, put an apple in it's mouth, and rotate the fvcker over an open pit fire nice and slow.

Roasts in a crock pot are always good.

ingredients in order of how you throw them in:
1 chopped onion on the bottom
meat, at least 3 lbs.
a few potatoes and carrots
cream of mushroom soup straight from the can....approx. 4 to 6 cans

cook on low for about 8 hours or high for 5
you can let it go overnight and have some meat for breakfast if you want

Oh man, this is too easy... :D

Last night I put a 4 lb chicken in the crocker with some potatos, onions, garlic cloves, fresh rosemary, seasoning, and a beer and slow cooked it. That was pretty tasty.

deep fried kitten on a stick.
all you need is the neighbors cat,
the shaft from an old pool stick
and a large pot of boiling oil.
spear cat with stick, submerge cat in bucket of boiling oil.
cook untill kitten quits squirming and is a nice golden brown color.

tomorrow we will tell you how to make a delicious poodle pudding.
