I'm soo lazy, but everybody loves my "Spider Chili"

2 lbs grilled steak (whatever's on sale at the butcher's) cut in strips
2 packets of 6 Gun Chili fixins (I've used all kinds, but you have to add some chili pepper powder to spice it up then)
4 bell peppers, cut in strips (for the spider legs). (I use various colors to make the chili look purdy)
1 pound mushrooms, sliced
1 onion
2 cans of carribean black beans
3 cans of crushed tomatos
2 cans of tomato sauce

while the steak is still warm, put it in a pot with the canned stuff, the spices, and the onions. Cook for an hour or so, then add the rest. Cook for another hour.

All done!

The spider name comes from the strips of bell pepper. :D

I have THE ULTIMATE chili recipe for you. I make this all the time and it kicks ass....

Ingredients:

1/2 green pepper - chopped finely
1 red onion - chopped finely
2 large garlic cloves - crushed
2-4 Jalapeno peppers (2 for mild, 4 for scorching)
1 tblspn. chili powder
1lb lean ground beef
1 Flank Steak (or London Broil) cubed *This is essential
1 can tomato sauce
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 can tomato soup
2 cans red kidney beans

Directions:

In a large pot over medium heat, heat up a little olive oil and then add onion, green pepper and jalapenos. Cook for a few minutes then add beef, steak and garlic. Cook until beef is done stirring occassionally. Add chili powder and cook for a few more minutes stirring occassionally. Add everything else on list above and stir. Add a little water if it's too thick. Turn down to low, cover, and cook for at least an hour (but, the longer the better). Dont let it burn!

Standard size. just add more of whatever you want

2lbs beef ( ground beef, or i prefer cubed steak)
2 packets of chili seasoning. brand doesn?t matter
2-4 sweet peppers. cut into lil squares.
1lb quartered mushrooms
1 large red sweet onion. (or more then 1 smaller onions)
2 cans kidney beans
2 cans some other beans
2 cans tomatoes

Cheese
cayan pepper to taste
Sour cream

Brown the ground beef in a firing pan first. If using steak just brown on all sides.
Place this in a large slow cooker. Add beans, tomatoes, chili seasoning, let cook for about an hour. Then add the rest cook for another hour. Stir it occasionally. I usually add some American cheese to it while its cooking. Thickens it up a lil and makes it taste good

Serve with sour cream and some corn bread

MMMmmm... those sound good.

Lately I've been using the recepie on the packet of French's Chili powder mix. It's quick and easy. The packets are found near the mexican spice packets at the local grocery store.

Basically it's one packet of seasoning
1lb ground beef
1can kidney beans (red)
I add 1 yellow onion
& Chedder Cheese & Sourcream as toppings
---

Brown ground beef in frying pan, drain, add seasoning per instructions. Add kidney beans and onion. Cook for ~10minutes.

Add cheese and sourcream to taste.

The thing is, it only takes like 20minutes to do everything. Make some bisquits (use package mix) and have some chips available and it's a good / quick / cheap meal.

You could add steak and peppers and anything else as mentioned above if those suit 'ya.

Don't have the exact recipe, but my wife makes the BEST chili I have ever tasted:

Bag of beans (kidney or pinto is good)
Pound of ground beef
Couple packages of shredded Mexican cheese
Packet of chili flavoring
Can of tomatoes

Mix everything together in the Crock Pot and cook it up. SO GOOD. :D
