good earphones to recommend

anyone got some good earphones to recommend?

its just for walking to class n such

i want it to have good bass or at least decent enough to hear it, and if possible volume control on it, thanks

my budget is like $30, and thats pushing it

Sony EX51. They run about ~$22 and are probably the best buds with the best bass for the price. I am NO fan of Sony but they did a pretty good job with these buds. They do a great job isolating sound due to the rubber bud and come with three sizes for different ear types. The EX81's have even better bass (more accurate) as well as better treble but I believe they are above the $30 range.

Just a note, these by no means beat out any of the audiophile buds (like the shure's) but for the price they are great sounding. They also stay in your ear well due to their design.

check cnet reviews, they recommend the sony mdr-ex71 under 50$ and if you look you can find them for abt 30$...i paid 30$ at amazon but they just jacked up the price. The ex81 is just a different-styled behind-neck version of the 71. VERY good for the price!

Koss KSC-35 ftw!

Seriously get this if you like good bass on a portable headphone.

this is so true it hurts

if you need budget cans...these cannot be beat...if someone says otherwise, they don't know what they're talking about. For the money, these are impossible to beat.

Those fart like a motherfvcker with bass. I've used EX71s, EX51s and 81s. I recommend the 51s over the 71s because the 51s dont have the middle splitter. The splitter is heavy enough that it drags the earbuds off your neck if oyu aren't careful. SAme drivers as the 51, so why not spend less and take the 51s... In either case they all sound the same and they're not spectacular. It's just good because its in ear so you filter out a lot of external noise.
