I've heard great things about the Sony MDR-EX70SL Nude Ex Earbuds, but I was wondering if there were any in a slightly lower price range.

i have no personal experience, but the guys at Head-Fi (major headphone geeks) will tell you to get Shure or Sennheiser. Take a look here
