good DVD burning software for 64 bit XP

Cyberlink Power2Go came on a laptop I bought, and I have to
say, it was the first time a DVD burn was as trouble free as a
CD-burn, for me.

The laptop had Vista 64.

so I tried it on 64 bit XP. No Go !

I'm not too picky, just want something that is functional, freeware
or payware.

found this thread, it's sort of related, about ripping CD's, but not on 64 bit XP.

So are you just looking for an app that will allow you to burn data on to a DVD?
If so CDBurnerXp is free and should work on your 64 bit machine. I personally like Ashampoo's burning studio, Ashampoo was giving free full version licenses out for this a while back, search hot deals, you should find it. Last but not least there is always Nero.

Now if you are looking to copy a DVD that's a different story, DVDShrink and DVDFab work well for copying DVD's.
