Good Drum set ??

In the 300-400 Price range. People with experiance, what are good brands of drums, what would be a good choice in that price range. Just looking for something to get going again. Thanks for your input !

400 can probably get you the drums and hardware but no cymbals. Musiciansfriend has a Mapex set for 500 with hardware, no cymbals. Or you can pay a little more and get a yamaha set for about 600 w/cymbals.

This is over your price range, but my friend got the Tama Swingstar and it was a very nice set. Everything cheaper he tried didn't sound that good. I think Pearl also makes a comparable-priced set. Anyway the hardware was included and with cymbals it was around $600.

Hmm, thanks for the info, however I think thats pushing the envelope a little to high
I'll have to look into Mapex... not bad eh ? What other brands are decent ?
