Looking for what everyone thinks of as good driving tunes? I mean like fast driving kinda tunes. AC/DC, Zepplin, Alice in Chains. So tell me what you think - classic or modern rock or whatever.

limp bizkit, though some people hate them. they got some good songs with strong bass people if thats your scene. you also can't lose with techno. Prodigy, yay.

I personally don't like aggressive music when I drive; it makes me too edgy in traffic. When I drive up the Malibu coastline I like to put on Cafe Del Mar, Volume 7. Best. Album. Ever.

I just drove from Toronto to Richmond Va, and listend to a good mix of radiohead, modest mouse, gorillaz,an a few others.I prefer relaxing driving music to subdue the road rage.

i always liked u2 and the get up kids, don't know if anyone else does. elevation and beautiful day were suggested here, popped em in and they've been in cruise mode since. valentine and anne arbor are probably my favorite get up kids songs. i don't like playing anything really hard when i'm in crowded traffic, gets me all pumped and edgy in the middle of traffic sitting still on my ass ;)

Top Gun soundtrack. If that doesn't get you flying (no pun intended, well maybe a little) down the highway, nothing will.

TheNemesis is right, Offspring is very good, what with them being all high-energy and such...plus one of their songs is about road rage ;)

The Strokes album Is This It. Never a dull moment on the CD.

Who's Going To Ride Your Wild Horses by U2 is great out on the open road.

Haha, this is no joke... my roommate always puts on "Danger Zone" when he's racing his Audi S4.
