Good Dreamcast Games

I am getting a Dreamcast soon (gonna hold off on the expensive units until the Xbox or Gamecube is released). I know of a few good games: NFL2K, Virtua Tennis, Soul Caliber, Sonic Adventure are the ones I know most. What are some others? What are your favorites? Almost any genre will do. I don't normally limit myself on the console side of things. Although Q3A may take a little to get used to.

nfl2k1 is the game.

I went over to my cousins house and Play NFL2k and he have his friends over and he 4 controllers. We were playing all stars and we are rocking the game. Its like the real thing play by play. Definitely a good games. Another good game is SEGA GT. If you like Grand Turismo 1 and 2, you're definitely got to get Sega GT. the games is like only $20 bux.

I also like the Bass fishing game, its pretty kewl, I caught a 20lb Bass. I think the Sega Marine Fishing just came out. Looking forward to pick that up as well. I don't have to patients to go to real fishing. hehehe

Crazy Taxi, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, and Resident Evil too.

But my favorite game to date on the dreamcast is Jet Grind Radio. This game kicks some serious ass!!!!!

Tony Hawk 2, and Shenmue are coming out in a week or two...Shenmue will be the best game ever..

Crazy Taxi is a fun game that everyone can play.

Power stone is also supposed to be a fun game.

Ferrari F355 is a good game, although it needs a lot of concentration, not fun to most people.

No dreamcast discussion is complete without mentioning Soul Caliber several times. It is the most awesome game ever created. I am not even a big fan of fighters, but this game is a *must have*.

I haven't played it yet, but Aero Wings 2 looks pretty good. The original Aero wings was ok, despite the fact that you were only flying formations and acrobatics. Aero Wings 2 allows you to dogfight a TON of different planes.

I am one of the people who really enjoyed Armada. It isn't very deep, but it _is_ fun. I hear that Armada 2 is on its way, I am really looking forward to it. If you can find Armada pretty cheap, get it.

Alright, here's some good games that I either own or have played:

NFL2k1
Crazy Taxi
Resident Evil: Code Veronica
Sega GT
Ecco the Dolphin
Soul Calibur
Dead or Alive 2 (call me crazy but I like this better than Soul Calibur)
Virtua Tennis (this game is a hoot, and I don't even like tennis that much)
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (if you haven't already played it on the psx then definately try it for the Dreamcast)

There are plenty of good games out there, it just depends on your budget. At my local best buy they've got a whole bunch of games on clearance and most of them are only about $10 so even if the game isn't the best of the best it's at least worth $10. For example: Wetrix and Sega Rally 2, they aren't the best games out, but for $10 a piece you can't really go wrong.

If you want sports titles real cheap then you can pick up the Sports Edition of the dreamcast (or whatever it's called) for $160 and you get both nfl 2k and nba2k (I think).....plus it's a sexy black color Or you can pick up a regular dreamcast and then buy whichever sports game you want separately. I know that nfl2k is only $20 and I'm sure that nba2k and nhl2k will be around the $20 mark soon if they're not already there.

Dammit....now look what you've done. You got me talking about dreamcast games and now I'm in the mood to go shopping for some new games. Hmmmm.....guess I'll have to check out best buy and see what they've got

Red Dog sux, NBA showtime sux, virtua striker 2 sux, dynamite cop is ok...
