Good Divx playing drive enclosures?

I'm looking for some feedback/suggestions on good DIVX playing drive enclosures. I've been googling for a bit but there seems to be a lot of generic enclosures out there and not a lot of reviews.

My brother owns this one and it's pretty sweet (Divx Player). It's very small (just add any 2.5 inch drive), the remote seems to be good and the player has decent output options (component 720p and 1080i). I'm just trying to see if there are any better options out there before shell out cash for this enclosure and a new 2.5inch drive (I don't own one currently).

Anyone had good experiences with another enclosure?

Thanks!

Haha... yeah they're pretty handy if you don't have a DVD player that will handle divx files.

sorry if i am hijacking the topic - but can you upgrade the Divx versions on these devices ? something like a firmware upgrade ?

Valid question... and part of what I'm looking for. It seems all these devices support firmware upgrades but it's hard to find information about what can really be accomplished by doing so (any firmware patch notes I've found just talk about addding stuff like "repeat all in this folder" and not new codecs). Therefore this thread... I'm digging for information. My brothers' player (the first one I linked) won't play any higher res DIVX files (not sure where the resolution cuts off) and I've found similar information on the Vantec player.

It looks like most of these are the same player with slightly different packaging but the same hardware. Reports are the Mediagate MG-25 is the same and has some newer firmware available but once again the patch notes are pretty sketchy.
