SF Chinatown or Oakland Chinatown.

I forgot the name of the restaurant but it is located on 9th st. on the second floor of a new complex in Oakland's chinatown. But if you go to 388 9th st and walk towards the center fountain, it is on the second floor on the west side of the building. This place has the best egg custard pastry I ever had and the dim sum is great...

It's called Peony's I think. Been there several times and it's not bad.

Go down to the Southbay into Milpitas..any number of places off the 237 exit from 880 should suit you.

take powell all the way heading to the water, there is a huge chinese restaurant there (forgot the name) kinda pricey though, since its a nice restaurant
