Good (digital) photography tutorial(s)?

fuzzybabybunny's posts in this thread prompted this. I'm sure this is a repost, but I searched and found nothing. I'm looking for GOOD photography tutorials to improve my abilities. I've googled, but there's a lot of crap to sift through to find the good ones.

I'm not sure 🙁

I personally just picked stuff up here and there by experimentation. Of course, I did make a lot of mistakes along the way.

What camera do you have? Feel free to ask me some questions 🙂

My wife has a 10D and a 30D with some nice lenses. She's not a good teacher though. I've picked up some stuff, but I need to work on composition and framing.

Once you've learned the basics/terminology, take a day trip by yourself with nothing but the camera, tripod, and a normal lens (40-60mm). Take a load of pictures, come home and get pissed at your images, learn from your mistakes, and do it all over again. You can read all the books in the world, but they don't mean sh!t when it comes to real experience behind the viewfinder.
