I know this has been asked before but it seems all anyone on ATOT says is get an Aeon chair.

I unfortunately cant afford one of those and I also am going to be leaving the country next year so this wont be a permanent chair most likely. Does anyone know of a good chair under 200 (pref 150ish or under)?

It seems NONE exist. The cheap 50 dollar ones at Office Depot or 300 dollar ones at IKEA that are so so but have one or two quirks. I just looked at the Markus Ikea chair (it was ok but 200) and the ak Designs - Octane PC Gaming and Office Chair which was comfy except for lack of lumbar support and it doesn't lock so its more like a rocking chair. ugh!

Any help would be appreciated!

Last time I shopped for a chair, I concluded there weren't any good chairs that cost under $200. So I spent $230 and have a nice comfortable one. It still has a plastic base, but I was fooled into thinking it was metal prior to purchasing.

If you want that price point, go used. Not that I know of any sources for used chairs.

This is 50 dollar chair I have for like 2.5 years now. Very nice. Only (slight) problem is that the seat became flat and hard from thousands of hours of sitting by me and my family.

Bought it in either office max or office depot...always confusing the two.
