I'm selling my computer in my sig for 600.00. I will use this money for a faster pci-e build, plus throw in another 400.00 to 600.00. It was either this or buy the 7800gs for 300.00. Am I making the right choice?

The only thing I'm keeping is 1.5 gigs of the ram all else is sold for 600.00.

So what do I buy Hmmm. Say 1000.00 for my next build, what would you do?

P.S. I really liked my sonata 1 and I'm taking a hard look at the Sonata 2 with 450 psu...99.00. I just don't want to risk the p150 psu failure, but I am thinking about the eVGA combo so maybe that would work with the p150? I need help please...:D Oh I allready have all the perifs, monitor, mouse etc...

i would change the motherboard and upgrade to pci-e. that way you can keep your memory and cpu, while just getting a new video card and psu.

buy a 7800GT or a X1900XL/XT with a good psu and i think you will be set.

Nope it's all sold but the 1.5 gigs. I know I should use 2 gig stick mem modules but this is just the way the cookie crumbles. He will not give me any more money so I had to keep the memory to sell it. 1.5 is just enough to run BF2 anyway :) So what do you think?
