Afro, Raid-0 does not reduce the storage available. This is a 120GB drive that's made by using 2x 60GB drives and a RAID controller chip to present them as 1x 120GB drive.

Raid 0 gives you all the storage space of your drives. It improves the performance of your drives by approx. .9 * N * perf where N is the # of drives and perf is the performance of those drives. Then to top it all off, it increases the likelihood of data loss since any disk failure toasts all your data.
