Good deal?

this is the car in question, i checked KBB and the price is pretty much on target, i will try to get maybe a few hundred off...

This seems like a reliable car, am i wrong?

Those are a very reliable car.

Also, check NADA instead of KBB, KBB has never been a good source for car prices. I have never been to a dealer in my life that used KBB.

VERY solid and reliable car. Decent price, too. PERSONALLY, I usually buy older cars, but that's me...still, unless there's something wrong with that one, it looks like a great find.

i checked NADA, im not sure how to find the private party value, it gives me 5,425 for a trade in value. Do i go by that?

Low miles..we have a '98 with 178k on it.

Try to talk him down a bit, but IMHO it's not a bad price.

yea, i think its an excellent car, if i do buy it i will have a mechanic inspect it, just to make sure.

I'm planning on dropping the price to $4000 work my way up from there...should i go lower?

I would offer $3800 and go from there. If you have cash/local check then show that to them.

Got a 01 Vette coupe with most options, both tops, ext. warrenty, etc... for $24500

I told him we had money and check in hand if he had the title. I offered 24K and we met at $24,500
