Hey guys, I saw this bundle at costco yesterday for an even $400. The bundle includes:

360 with 20GB HD
2 Controllers
Charger Kit
Forza 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance

The only problem is that it's garaunteed to be a Zephyr. On the side of the box, there was a sticker that had both CSON and Zephyr. I checked like 15 boxes; they all said the same thing.

You can get the 360 Holiday Bundle for ~$320 at Overstock.com with the 10% off coupon 85721.

Yes. Don't worry about the Zephyr. If it breaks, just take it back to Costco and get a new one. Lifetime satisfaction guarantee.

Holiday bundle only comes with 1 controller though.

You are basically getting the charger kit ( play&charge?) for free, since the controller is $50 anyway. Not worth jumping IMO, I would wait out a Falcon.

360 controllers go on sale from $20-$40 all the time. Especially at Amazon.

I'd get it just for costco's great return policy and you'll need another controller and charger anyway.

Any idea how would they work with swapping out just the console and allowing me to keep my hard drive? I bought a bundle back at launch and have already swapped the console out once due to a RRoD last year, and now it's starting to flake out again (disc read errors on perfectly fine discs.)

Yep. But the OP seemed to be disappointed at getting a Zephyr. That's why I suggested Overstock.com. Of course, no guarantee of getting a Falcon there either.

All of the 360s that I saw at costcos had the 203w PSU. and they said Zephyr on the side too.

Costco doesn't do an exchange per se - you just return your old one and buy the new one. OR buy the new one then return your old one - and in between you would either transfer the data or swap the hard drives. :) So that's not an issue.

I wonder if I can swap out just the system though as mine was part of a bundle, and all they sell are bundles

Get it. The lifetime warranty means you can take it back in 10 years when it breaks. Its priceless.

Of course, $400 by when would be only enough to fill up half of your gas tank.

Taking it back after 10 years would be pretty lame.
