Good deal or not?

I found a online coupon for a Dell XPS Gen 4 system that reduced the price by $1200. (http://www.dealcatcher.com/toolbar.asp?m=610&c=54006 ) and was wondering if the following configuration was worth the price...the deal just seemed to be too good to be true, so I thought I'd put a query here as you guys seem pretty knowledgable 🙂

Not really a deal, 3.2 is kinda weak for a p4, and a plain 6800 is weak too. Seems like you could find better on the outlet site. Or just build your own AMD beast.

So if that reduced the price by $1200, Dell started by trying to sell that machine for $2600?

Yeah, not really worth it, you could definatly build a better system for that price.
