Good Deal On Spider Man DVD @ Costco YMMV

I was at my local Costco (Westbury, NY) on saturday and picked up SpiderMan on DVD for $16.99, this is however not the hot deal;

the DVD is the Platinum edition which sells for $20.46 on amazon. I don't know if the one from Amazon comes with a free movie ticket, but the one I got from Costco has a movie ticket to SpiderMan 2.

Considering that movies cost about $9.25 around here, it seems as if I got my Dvd for $7.74, which seems pretty good to me.
 
The DVD was $15.99 at most major retailers the week that it came out. Also the movie ticket isn't good at AMC movie theaters which probably has the biggest footprint and the best theaters here in San Diego, so that kinda sucks. It's good at pretty much every other movie theater known to man though.

It's $16.89 with free shipping at DDD.
 
I saw it too and I got it in Los Angeles!!!

Besides, when I saw the ticket was not good for the Arclight theater in Los Angeles, I just took it to work and VERY easily found someone to take it from my hands for what it's worth! So I got my money that I will be applying towards the theater I want to attend!!!

Either way, it's an AWESOME DEAL!!!

Don't know about the theater, but Spiderman 2 is freaking amazing. Just got back about an hour ago! GO SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!
 
I think they should do a Rated R - Uncut Directors Edition where his freaking claws wreak bloody havok on anyone that comes in their way, and Peter and Mary Jane sex it up..... Kirsten Dunst....... *drools
