good deal on new 2 TB hard drive?

I've seen some good deals on 1 TB hard drives lately, including one for $48 shipped. However, I haven't seen what I would call a similar deal on any 2 TB hard drives.

I would consider a similar deal on a new 2 TB hard drive to be $73 or under.


Can anyone point me to something along those lines? I have all the parts I need to upgrade an old computer here into a fairly decent game system for my kids, except for the hard drive.

Periodically check dealnews. 2TB Seagate $75 or 3TB Seagate external $90, recently. The external you'll have to find out if it is a regular SATA drive inside. Seagates usually are and chances are it's also 5400, but it gives you an idea of pricing. Best of luck.
