EDIT: We're going to get a dedicated linux box instead, :)

I've been talking to this guy at a hosting company in NY and he said he can do a 32-slot 100tick DOD:S/CS:S or TF2 server for $40/mo, but only if I can get a 2nd person to sign up with me. We would share the server (2.8 GHz P4, can handle 2 100-tick servers at once). I played on one of their servers and it ran very nice.

I'm just looking for someone to sign up with me, we would each pay the company seperately so theres no worries about non-payment. They just want to ensure they have two customers before they start.

$40/mo for a 32-slot 100-tick public server is a great deal as far as I'm concerned, so if anyone is interested, send me an email: askreet@gmail.com

Thanks!

That deal is awesome, I looked a year or two ago and didn't find anything cheaper than $60 a month. Too bad I don't need a server now :(

Two 32 slot 100tic? You sure a 2.8Ghz can handle that? If both servers were full I could almost guarantee it would choke.

Right now I count 5 servers with 32 slots, 1 with 30, and 1 with 28...

Me and my friends decided to get our own dedicated box. I'll see how many servers 2.8 GHz can handle :)
