Good deal on a laptop?

I'm looking to suggest a laptop to someone and can use suggestions.

It's for a small business. He'd probably like a 15" screen, three USB's and prefers reasonably lightweight.

Right now he's looking at the following at Costco which seems like a very good deal,it's really a bit more than he needs. Any better out there?

That's a lot of horsepower for a business notebook. Blu Ray drive? I7 processor? He coud step down to somethign with an i5, 6 GB of RAM and a DVD drive. Probably end up in the 500-600 range. If he wants to splurge for work, he can grab a 24" monitor from costco for 180 and ease up on his eyes. This is all a function of what your friend actually DOES in his business of course.

Most modern machines will have 3 USBs unless you get into ultrabooks with ltd real estate. He could also use a USB hub to exend anything he wants to do. What is going into those plugs? Drives? Mouse? keyboard? It makes a difference. I daisy chain my mice into ports in my keyboard, but wouldn't use those ports for an external disk or printer.

More specific usage scenarios and requirements will get you more answers.

decent price if the user is ok with 1366 x 768. People like my mom don't mind that resolution but I know there are lots of people who simply can't work at that resolution.

as someone who has used toshibas in the past the tecra or business line is much better than the satellite consumer line. If he's going to travel around with it go with a tecra or thinkpad.
