I'm looking to upgrade the cooling of the both my AMD XP 1800, and my 1.3GHz Duron. Currently they have the Retail fans on them. I've been looking around and kind of like the Thermaltake Volcano fans. Is that a good one to get or are there better ones. Let me know.

the volcano 7+ is good, but there are cheaper/better hsfs out there

Get the thermalright AX-7 and a 80mm fan of your choice =D

when choosing a HSF, you have to take alot of different things to look at. how much to spend, how cool do you want it, how loud a fan you can stand...etc. my suggestion for the best bang for your buck is the svc goldengate w/ 40 cfm fan found here: linky. mind you, that fan is one loud lil sucker tho so if noise is not your concern, that copper unit does a great job and for that price? good lawd. if not, the thermaltakes do the job well and aren't as loud. so you really have to sit back and put all those factors in when you're choosing your HSF. gl.
