First thoughts are an Arctic freezer 7 pro or a CM 212+. Both are great coolers and can be had for $30-40, fan included. Both are small, light, and quiet yet offer great cooling capacity.

I don't see why not. That should have little-no impact at all fwiw. My PC runs 8-16hrs a day for over 3 years now and only one fan out of eight have died on me.

If you are really worried about something like that then get the 212 where the fan is easily replaceable. The Freezer pro uses a custom fan. Though it is worth mentioning I have had freezer pro in my other system since 2008 and it is still running strong too!

I use a ThermalRight Ultra 120 Extreme. CPU is a Q9550 E0, stock. Not sure on price nowadays however. It's a good cooler overall.
