good computer, bad problems

I have a Dragon Plus with 1800+, 256 MB RAM, 350 watt power supply. THis is an upgrade from a Celeron 700 with 300watt power supply. AFter upgrading, my computer restarts without reason. It will restart on start up sometimes, when scrolling through web pages, and sometimes during games. It wants to run scandisk everytime. It does it sometimes but some days it will be perfectly fine. I'm running XP. I did a clean install with the latest 4 in 1 drivers and latest video card drivers but the problem is still here. I also get the critical errors message, I went into the details and it said something about the dump. I'm not overclocking anything either. My old computer seemed more stable than the one i have now. I used to have a BX chipset and now own the KT266A. It seems like the better of computer i get the more problems i have. Any help would be appriciated.
