One of our buildings has been experiencing internet downtime. I'm never there when it happens, nor could I be there (another state), so I can't be sure that the router is the problem. Anyway, from what the person down there tells me, they completely lose connectivity. It happens quite a bit. They call their ISP for their IDSL and they say everything is up on their end. Everybody there is runninig on wireless (finally talked them into getting some lan drops), and from just hearing that they lose connectivity, I'm assuming their router is bad. Interference of some kind, or just the router itself is on its last leg. It's like a 2 year old linksys router that you would have probably bought for your home. 802.11b with 4-port.
Based on that, I'd need to know what a good, reliable wireless router is, that would not hiccup offten do to interference from other networks.
