Good CMS software

I have a server running OAMP(OpenBSD instead of Linux in case anyone is wondering :) ).

This server is hosting some stuff, among them a forum and front page for a WoW guild(my own in fact).
Now, the problem is, we no longer have anyone to maintain the front page, and it's made using Dreamweaver, which makes the whole thing a huge mess unless you happen to use Dreamweaver yourself.
Basically, I just want to throw all the old stuff out, and use some CMS software instead, after that I should be able to just persuade someone to make some decent enough looking template for the site.

So, any tips on some good software?
Nothing fancy needed, it'll basically just be a site listing some news, and a few links to the forums and such.
I'm not much of a web guy, so basically the easier to maintain and such, the better.
Obviously MySQL/PHP compatible(php 5.2.x and MySQL 5.0.x).

I use mkportal, I am on the dev team as well as a beta/alpha tester. www.mkportal.it It's about ready to go to vers. 2.0 (also known as vers. C because it's the first version to not need a BB forum software installed to run, ie. complete)

Typo 3 is also very good if you're relatively advanced in portal installations and that sort of thing.

For what you're after (running a guild or anything in WoW?) I would recommend eGroupWare. Run group calendars for events, shared address books, centralised email ect ect.

I would say go with a simple blogging site like Typo (not Typo3, that's a totally different program) or Wordpress. Joomla is awesome for like a company site with a lot of features, but if all you want is a front page with news updates, a simple blog will be much much better.

You could also use something like Komposer to edit your existing html document, but in the end I think you would happy you switched to Typo or Wordpress.

Thanks for the tips.
Gonna check out Joomla to begin with, the name does ring a bell, and I like the part about existing templates that are wow-themed.
As for groupware, that would definitely be overkill, we simply run a system of raiding on a set numbers of days, you're expected to show up, let us know if you can't, works well enough without scheduling :)

And the existing HTML docs are all an enormous mess, one of the reasons why I hate all the advanced editors like Dreamweaver and such, they're nice and all, but trying to manually do anything with the stuff they produce...ugh.
