Hopefully not a repost, searched for cholesterol.

According to French researchers, low levels of good cholesterol have been linked directly to memory loss, or dementia.

The study was led by Archana Singh-Manoux of the French National Institute for Health and Medical Research in Paris.

At the University College London in England, over 3,500 people took place in the study, which began in 1985.

What they found was that those with low levels of high-density lipoproteins or HDL ?good? cholesterol, were more likely to suffer from memory loss or dementia.

This was witnessed in all middle-aged people, men and women.

Researchers defined a low HDL as less than 40mg/dl and high as 60mg/dl and above.

The study found that at age 55, those with low HDL had a 27% increased risk of memory loss. At age 60%, the increased risk was at 53%.

The study was published in Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology.

Who cares about all that though. The pic is the best accompanying pic in the history of the world.

Could this be true in the under 25 category? My memory absolutely sucks, both in transition of short to long term, and retention of long term memories.
