Good choice?

I just ordered the BFG 8800GT OC today, together with a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L - good choice, price-performance wise?

I know the card will be a little bottlenecked by my CPU, but I'll be getting an E8400 or something better (if something better is out by the time) in a month from today.

I do not plan on going SLI for quite a while, and when I do, I'll be getting a new graphics card (9900GTX or whatever it'll be called for an example) and SLI PCI-E x16 2.0 motherboard anyway. :)

Ya did well... a P35 board and an 8800GT is a good combo price/performance wise.

A little tip though: You might want to consider asking this question before you buy, and not after :)

Yeah, I just heard so many people were using it with various newer cards with success. I just had to buy something quickly... ;)
Though, just one thing. Does it (perhaps with newer BIOS updates) support E8xxx series of Intel CPUs? Like the E8400

By 'it', I mean the mainboard. Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L

Yes it supports E8xxx cpus. P35 is a quite "made" for the Penryn chips.
