Good choice?

I just ordered the BFG 8800GT OC today, together with a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L - good choice, price-performance wise?

I know the card will be a little bottlenecked by my CPU, but I'll be getting an E8400 or something better (if something better is out by the time) in a month from today.

I do not plan on going SLI for quite a while, and when I do, I'll be getting a new graphics card (9900GTX or whatever it'll be called for an example) and SLI PCI-E x16 2.0 motherboard anyway.

Ya did well... a P35 board and an 8800GT is a good combo price/performance wise.

Yeah, I just heard so many people were using it with various newer cards with success. I just had to buy something quickly...
Though, just one thing. Does it (perhaps with newer BIOS updates) support E8xxx series of Intel CPUs? Like the E8400

Yes it supports E8xxx cpus. P35 is a quite "made" for the Penryn chips.
