my friend gave me this P4 chip which was taken from his Dell.

The inscriptions on the chip says as follow,

2A Ghz/512/1.5V
SL5YR Costa Rica
3211A595-1530

How overclockable do you think this chip is? I don't have an Intel mobo.. so I cannot really test it out. And what's a good motherboard to couple with this CPU? I have an extra pair of BH-5 (Mushkin 2 x 512MB)

Get a nice solid D865GBF, I'm sure others will argue since you cant OC on the intel board, but they are about as stable as they get
 
I would purchase a MB locally. It's easier to return if the chip is bad..

Asus and Abit are good boards for overclocking..
