I built a computer for my girlfriend about a year ago. It is crashing a lot and I suspect the ATI video card. I want to replace it with an nVidia card. I was hoping to get something cheap and fairly good for about $60. However, everything being sold is PCIe.
PCIe is great for new computers but what should I do with an existing AGP based system? Either waste a lot of money on an overpriced underpowered AGP card still being sold, or get a whole new motherboard/CPU/video card?
What would everyone here recommend?
