Hi guys, I am going to buy a Sempron 2600 and overclock it. I am building a budget combo for under $150 and it got VERY good results on XBIT when overclcoked. At 2.5ghz, it beat out an A64 3400 in pretty much every test. I can get the proccesor for $75 which gives me another $75 for the motherboard. I have pc3200 and would like to have a good motherboard that has a ram divider and pci lock. I am shooting for 300 bus and 2.4ghz. What motherboard will let me do that for that price. I was thinking about getting this one, what do you think?

I hope you're not aiming for 5 X 300. That's a pretty hard combination. I'm perfonally running HTT at 1400.
That Epox board is a fair board though I'd perfer a DFI board with MOSFET heatsinks for overclocking. An MSI board would be okay too. ;)

I have never overclocked an Athlon 64 or sempron, only an old Barton which was different. I don't know too much about the new ones. XBIT said with 1.5v and stock cooler, it can hit 300X8 though for 2.4ghz.
