good cheap mic

I've seen some posts in these forums about where to get a cheap (gaming) mic, and i think i could find some somewhere. but, of course, some brands are better than others for the same price; so, is there anything for which i should keep an eye out or watch out. is there a specific model/brand of mic that is better/worse than the others?

btw, i'm more interested in microphone only, as i have a nice pair of headphones already. i'd be using the headphones sometimes and speakers other times and would probably have the mic set up (when i'm using the speakers at least) to only transmit data when i press a button (as opposed to a volume threshold).

I've got the Logitech USB Desktop Mic and so far it's great. It's more expensive than the plain desktop mics that plug into your soundcard but the build quality is much better than my last mic. I use it with Dragon Naturally Speaking and it filters out noise very well. If you want a headset people seem to like the Sennheiser PC150's though they aren't cheap at all. Plantronics makes a cheap set called the .Audio 90's but they're prone to breaking (if you're lucky enough to get a good set they're good).

PC150s pretty damn cheap for what they are. only $36 shipped at amazon.

Yep, friend got one for $20 at bestbuy, works great.
