I remember those $20 for a year of hosting deals back in the day - any current equivalent? I have a project I don't want to invest a lot in (a total hobby), I don't need anything fancy.

AWS offers a Free Tier for the first 12 months. Suitability depends on your storage, CPU/mem requirements.
