Good centralized home content filtering?

Hi!

I am looking into a content filtering system for home use. It should be installed on a server that will act as a proxy. (No resource hogging for client computers!)

My first thought was if WebSense offered a home product but unfortunately they don't. 🙁 Does anyone have any suggestions for thorough software with a good amount of management options?

Thanks!

It can be your router, proxy, content filter, Bandwith shapper, and IDS system.

Most likely using readily available Free and Open Source Software, that you could combine with a more full-features OS or distribution to do the same thing or better. 😛
